It doesn't matter if the plants are real or faux, nothing beats having them in a chunky china plant pot to set them off – and one on feet is just the icing on the cake in our book (not to mention the drape and tassel decorations that circle this large pot!

No plants? No worries! This large pot makes an excellent display/storage/decorative/any-use-you-can-think of pots too! Not only does it feature three feet, it also decorated in our ‘drape and tassel’ design.

This pot stands 20cm tall (the pot size is 15cm) and it's 20cm wide.

**Please note that this pot is for indoor use but can be used outside during the summer months, but please remember to bring it in before any signs of frost or cold weather.

WHAT MAKES IT A SECOND...

Unfortunately there are a few things that make this stunner a second, the good news is that none of them are hugely visible, but they are there so a second it very much is.

Firstly, and most significantly there are a few join issues around the base and the three feet. None of them make the legs in any way at risk of them falling off - they are fully sealed and glazed on - it's just a little split where the legs were blended into the base structure...

On top of this, the top of the plant pot is slightly on a slant...  nothing hugely noticeable and who cares if your handmade pottery isn't the oh-so-level-perfection that you'd expect from mass-produced pieces...

Finally, there are a few bobbly/pin-pricks areas in the glaze around the side of the pot.  Again, nothing more than cosmetic, but important to flag.

Reflecting these, it's been discounted by 65%.

Caring for your pottery:

Marigold and Lettice pottery is made from white earthenware clay and designed to be used and enjoyed every day. We personally use our pieces in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. However, to prolong the life of your pottery, handwashing is the gentler choice, as dishwashers can be tough on handmade items due to high-pressure jets and strong detergents and may overtime cause damage and speed up any grazing in the glaze.

While we do microwave our own pieces, for longevity we suggest heating food in the oven where possible.

I M P O R T A N T    I N F O R M A T I O N

Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
