An extra large, super jumbo 'piping' vase. Now I rarely make vases of this size so it would be fair to call this a one-off! It stands at 26cm tall and around 18cm wide in the middle and 13cm at the top. It was a feat of love not only to make it but to glaze it too - it was rather heavy to lift when full of glaze let me tell you!
This new design was inspired by the piped perfection of wedding cakes and the sleek elegance of 60s eveningwear (yes, I was watching Mad Men while making the first of its kind), this vase design marries structure with softness. It's vintage glam with a handmade twist—perfectly imperfect and full of personality.
*It's been discounted by 5% because there are a few thicker drips in down the side of the vase in places - that just adds to the character and handmade charm (tried to show in the pictures) but certainly doesn't detract from the piece or indeed that visible

💋 Important vase information 💋
Marigold and Lettice vases are unapologetically different. Each are made by hand (no moulds or casts are used) so each will have their own shape and lines. Because of this expect them to be slightly sloped and not symmetrical. They certainly aren’t mainstream or mass market, but it will be unique to you and packed with character and texture.

Caring for your pottery:
Marigold and Lettice pottery is made from white earthenware clay and designed to be used and enjoyed every day. We personally use our pieces in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. However, to prolong the life of your pottery, handwashing is the gentler choice, as dishwashers can be tough on handmade items due to high-pressure jets and strong detergents and may overtime cause damage and speed up any grazing in the glaze.
While we do microwave our own pieces, for longevity we suggest heating food in the oven where possible.
I M P O R T A N T I N F O R M A T I O N
Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
