Charm bracelets hold a special place in my heart, evoking vivid memories of my grandmother’s beautiful bracelet that she allowed me to admire when I was young. Creating a chunky china version in homage to Granny was inevitable, and it has quickly become my favourite design ever.
 
The platter is adorned with a string of various charms hanging around it. Each platter is completely unique, with no set pattern for the charms (or which ones will be included – all have a whimsical and vintage feel), staying true to the spirit of charm bracelets. Charms have been adored for thousands of years, not just for their decorative appeal, but often to symbolise good luck, love, and holy forces.
 
Our platters come in two sizes (medium and large), and two shapes (oval and rectangle) with the charm size remaining consistent across all platter sizes.
 
These deliciously chunky, perfectly imperfect platters (we celebrate and cherish these imperfections), finished with a glossy white glaze, are perfect for all your needs and occasions. From simple suppers to full-on parties, these platters would look as just as good overflowing with a Sunday roast as it would with a (fruit) salad on.
 
They might be beautiful, but they are very useable too as they all go in the dishwasher, oven etc.

Caring for your pottery:
Marigold and Lettice pottery is made from white earthenware clay and designed to be used and enjoyed every day. We personally use our pieces in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. However, to prolong the life of your pottery, handwashing is the gentler choice, as dishwashers can be tough on handmade items due to high-pressure jets and strong detergents and may overtime cause damage and speed up any grazing in the glaze. 
While we do microwave our own pieces, for longevity we suggest heating food in the oven where possible.

Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
