What says Christmas dinner more than a Christmas pudding? 🎄

I just couldn’t resist making another chunky china version — festive, timeless, and full of character.
This Christmas Pudding Dome & Plate is the perfect way to serve (and show off) your pudding this season. The dome fits into the raised edge of the plate, keeping every drop of brandy sauce (or flaming brandy!) safely contained.
 
Of course, it would look just as good filled with cheese and biscuits, truffles, or anything deserving of a grand festive reveal. However you use it, it makes a beautiful handmade centrepiece — classic, simple, and full of charm.
 
Handmade, hand-glazed, perfectly imperfect, and made to be treasured (and used!) year after year. 
 
Size: This is the medium/large version, designed to fit a good sized medium pudding (I built it around a vintage 2-litre pudding bowl!).
Plate: 24cm wide × 3cm tall
Dome: 18cm wide × 14cm tall
Together: 15cm tall
 
**Please note that while the pudding dome and plate are made for each other there it is not a tight fit  between the lid and the base. We say it adds to the charm and unique style of our pottery, but we don't want you to be disappointed if you're expecting a tight fit.**
 
Caring for your pottery:
Marigold and Lettice pottery is made from white earthenware clay and designed to be used and enjoyed every day. We personally use our pieces in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. However, to prolong the life of your pottery, handwashing is the gentler choice, as dishwashers can be tough on handmade items due to high-pressure jets and strong detergents and may overtime cause damage and speed up any grazing in the glaze.

Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
