Perfect for so many moments over the Christmas period, these little fluted dishes might just become your hardest-working pieces. They’re ideal for salt and pepper on the festive table, or for olive oil and balsamic dipping on Boxing Day spreads. Their petite size (around 7cm wide and 2cm tall) also makes them perfect for individual helpings of cranberry sauce, mustard, or horseradish.
 
Away from food, they’re wonderfully handy — the perfect spot for your rings while washing up, a teabag rest, or a tiny catch-all for those bits and bobs that never quite have a home. Sweet, versatile, and endlessly useful.
 
Each set includes seven dishes, designed to complement the colours from our Fairy and Twinkle Light pottery. You’ll receive one each in red, purple, orange, green, yellow, blue, and pink, all finished with a beautiful gold rim.  The colour intensity on each dish will vary because each is hand painted, so unique to you!

Caring for your pottery:
Marigold and Lettice pottery is made from white earthenware clay and designed to be used and enjoyed every day. We personally use our pieces in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. However, to prolong the life of your pottery, handwashing is the gentler choice, as dishwashers can be tough on handmade items due to high-pressure jets and strong detergents and may overtime cause damage and speed up any grazing in the glaze.

Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
