Getting your perfect piece to you is our priority but as each piece is made to order (we don't hold any pieces in stock), the process takes a MINIMUM OF A MONTH although this is just a guide and if it goes over please bear with us, if it goes under let's celebrate!

Sprouts are for life, not just for Christmas and these sprout serving bowls are remarkably lifelike, thanks to a little secret – they’re moulded from real sprouts (thank you, Waitrose!) and hand-painted using a mix of five green tones to capture all their texture, depth, and leafy goodness.
 
Our serving bowls are ideal to take to the table as a serving dish, fruit bowl and bold enough to impress anyone - even if empty!
 
** as each piece is hand-painted you can expect some areas of white glaze in the sprouts as well as variations in the intensity of the colours.

Caring for your pottery
Marigold and Lettice pottery is made from white earthenware clay and designed to be used and enjoyed every day. We personally use our pieces in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. However, to prolong the life of your pottery, handwashing is the gentler choice, as dishwashers can be tough on handmade items due to high-pressure jets and strong detergents and may overtime cause damage and speed up any grazing in the glaze. 
While we do microwave our own pieces, for longevity we suggest heating food in the oven where possible. 
 
I M P O R T A N T    I N F O R M A T I O N
Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
