Right in the centre sits a (small and ceramic) yellow bath duck - cheerful, unbothered, and ready to hold your incense stick. The gently curved base catches the ash while the duck keeps watch, probably judging your choice of scent (but in a loving way).
 
It’s functional. It’s funny. It’s unapologetically ducky. The duck comes in white or in bright yellow!

And yes, it’s chunky—because of course it is.

Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
