Everything in life is better with a frill on it — especially a cake stand! And not just any frills… we’re talking big, chunky frills. Honestly, once you’ve got frills on your cake stand, it doesn’t matter what’s on the cake — this is the kind of china that is the decoration. It’s the only ingredient you need for a showstopper!
 
There are two sizes to choose from:
Standard – perfect for a generously sized cake: £100
Jumbo – for those extra-large bakes that deserve the spotlight: £120
 
Both sizes stand proudly on a pedestal base and both will feature two rows of frills. The frill placement will vary from piece to piece (that’s the beauty of handmade!), making each stand uniquely yours.
 
Caring for your pottery
Marigold and Lettice pottery is made from white earthenware clay and designed to be used and enjoyed every day. We personally use our pieces in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. However, to prolong the life of your pottery, handwashing is the gentler choice, as dishwashers can be tough on handmade items due to high-pressure jets and strong detergents and may overtime cause damage and speed up any grazing in the glaze. 
While we do microwave our own pieces, for longevity we suggest heating food in the oven where possible.

Getting your perfect piece to you is our priority but as each piece is made to order (we don't hold any pieces in stock), the process takes a MINIMUM OF FOUR WEEKS although this is just a guide and if it goes over please bear with us, if it goes under let's celebrate!
 
I M P O R T A N T    I N F O R M A T I O N
Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
