Getting your perfect piece to you is our priority but as each piece is made to order (we don't hold any pieces in stock), the process takes a MINIMUM OF A MONTH although this is just a guide and if it goes over please bear with us, if it goes under let's celebrate!

Incense is making a resurgence and here at M&L HQ we're mad for an incense stick!  Now, we've long been in love too with our hand coaster, so we've married the two together and viola: our (give us a) hand incense holder!  
 
Perfectly imperfect (would you expect anything less) but it's got it all in-hand for holding the incense stick while it fragrances the room and of course catching all the ash in the palm as it is slightly cupped in design.  Every one is a total one-off as each is handmade (no pun intended!).
 
It’s chunky. It’s lifesize-ish. It’s already one of our fav things ever!
 
Caring for your pottery:
Marigold and Lettice pottery is made from white earthenware clay and designed to be used and enjoyed every day. We personally use our pieces in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. However, to prolong the life of your pottery, handwashing is the gentler choice, as dishwashers can be tough on handmade items due to high-pressure jets and strong detergents and may overtime cause damage and speed up any grazing in the glaze. 
While we do microwave our own pieces, for longevity we suggest heating food in the oven where possible. 
 
I M P O R T A N T    I N F O R M A T I O N
Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
