Getting your perfect piece to you is our priority but as each piece is made to order (we don't hold any pieces in stock), the process takes a MINIMUM OF A MONTH although this is just a guide and if it goes over please bear with us, if it goes under let's celebrate!

When life gives you lemons, we say make lemon-chunky-china!
 
These platters have scattered 3-D lemons over them making them the perfect piece for summer (or year round let's be honest!) dining, dishing up a salad, serving slices of lemon drizzle cake (or indeed any flavour!).
 
The hand painted lemons have a range of yellow glazes - now these aren't mass-produced, transfer painted, block colours and identical, they are handmade and hand painted so each is unique and the glaze effects on each lemon are different because of that.
 
There is only one size of lemon regardless of the size of the platter selected.

Caring for your pottery:
Marigold and Lettice pottery is made from white earthenware clay and designed to be used and enjoyed every day. We personally use our pieces in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. However, to prolong the life of your pottery, handwashing is the gentler choice, as dishwashers can be tough on handmade items due to high-pressure jets and strong detergents and may overtime cause damage and speed up any grazing in the glaze. 
While we do microwave our own pieces, for longevity we suggest heating food in the oven where possible. 
 
 
I M P O R T A N T    I N F O R M A T I O N
Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
