Welcome to this year’s Valentine’s mini collection 💘
Tiny in numbers, big on charm. This very limited edition drop is made to bring a little extra joy to Valentine’s Day — and keep things flirty long after the candles have burned out. They’re already made and ready to ship, but I’m sorry there are so few… and yes, heartbreak may occur if they’re gone before you can say “be mine”.

Say it with flowers 🌸
Flowers are cute… but pottery lasts longer 😉
This painted platter is hand-painted (freestyle, obviously), loosely inspired by echinacea blooms in soft pinks and green stem. Imprinted edges, finished with a creamy glazed base and my signature shiny bright white sides and underside — the kind of piece that keeps the romance alive well past the 14th.

** This platter/plate has been reduced by 25%. Being honest, it originally started life as a cake stand, but during its first firing, the stand and plate decided to part ways. I’ve sanded the joint down, so there are no rough edges or sharpness, and it’s fully glazed - but the underside is a little messy. Don’t worry, though - you’ll have the base down, keeping the “messy” hidden while the top takes the spotlight. Please check the pictures to see what I mean...**

Size - 31cm round and around 1 - 1.5cm-ish high

Caring for your pottery:

Marigold and Lettice pottery is made from white earthenware clay and designed to be used and enjoyed every day. We personally use our pieces in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. However, to prolong the life of your pottery, handwashing is the gentler choice, as dishwashers can be tough on handmade items due to high-pressure jets and strong detergents and may overtime cause damage and speed up any grazing in the glaze.

While we do microwave our own pieces, for longevity we suggest heating food in the oven where possible.

I M P O R T A N T    I N F O R M A T I O N

Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
