Swans are symbols of love (and this one won't threaten to break your arm if you approach it!) and this swan is swimming with joy having been turned into a candlestick!
 
Standing at around 10cm tall and 10cm wide and features a hand painted orange and black beak, but unfortunately a crack has occurred in its (uhhmmm) backside when I was joining both sides together. It's there and visible but the entire piece is fused with glaze, so everything is fully secure - nothing is loose or coming away. Reflecting this though, it's been discounted by 50%
 
It is made to fit a 'pencil' sized candle (by that we mean the pencil thin/ultra skinny/tall candles). Pencil candles are available from a number of places. We like these ones and they come in a variety of colours (or search mini taper candle on Amazon or other such sites)

Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
