Getting your perfect piece to you is our priority but as each piece is made to order (we don't hold any pieces in stock), the process takes a MINIMUM OF A MONTH although this is just a guide and if it goes over please bear with us, if it goes under let's celebrate!
_____
We call them our petal bowls, you can call them what you want, but these curved edged bowls have fast become some of our own most used pieces!
The ever-so slightly smaller of our fluted/petal bowls, this style has 12 petals/curved edges which are – of course - deliciously chunky, perfectly-imperfect (we celebrate and cherish these imperfections) and glazed in a glossy white finish.
We call them pasta bowls, but the truth of the matter is that these are perfect for pasta, salad, noodles, curries and well, whatever you want to dish up!
They are a great size with a flat bottom base, and it goes without saying – but we will anyway – that they happily go in the oven, dishwasher and microwave.
As with all our pottery, no two will ever be identical, but wouldn’t life be boring if everything – including your dishes – were all the same! They actually stack quite nicely in a space-saving way too!

Caring for your pottery:
Marigold and Lettice pottery is made from white earthenware clay and designed to be used and enjoyed every day. We personally use our pieces in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. However, to prolong the life of your pottery, handwashing is the gentler choice, as dishwashers can be tough on handmade items due to high-pressure jets and strong detergents and may overtime cause damage and speed up any grazing in the glaze.
While we do microwave our own pieces, for longevity we suggest heating food in the oven where possible.

Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
Please note that because each piece is unique the design will be different from the one in the picture – similar but unique.
