Getting your perfect piece to you is our priority but as each piece is made to order (we don't hold any pieces in stock), the process takes a MINIMUM OF A MONTH although this is just a guide and if it goes over please bear with us, if it goes under let's celebrate!

What makes our white chunky china even more special? When you have a hand painted icon on it that's what... No stencils, patterns or tracing for us - each is drawn and painted just for you. They'll all be similar in size and design but each will be unique - just the way we love it.  
 
The bowls themselves are available in four sizes: small, medium, large and extra large so we have the right bowl for whatever you need them for.  Ideal for dishing up simple suppers to a full-on party; overflowing with nibbles, olives, crisps or roasties; or what about using them for salads or as a fruit bowl? The choice is yours!  
 
These handpainted icons will grow slightly as the bowls get bigger....

We've called them icons, but they can also be symbols, emojis and we will always look to add more - have an idea, send us a message and we'll see what we can do!
 
Caring for your pottery
Marigold and Lettice pottery is made from white earthenware clay and designed to be used and enjoyed every day. We personally use our pieces in the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. However, to prolong the life of your pottery, handwashing is the gentler choice, as dishwashers can be tough on handmade items due to high-pressure jets and strong detergents and may overtime cause damage and speed up any grazing in the glaze. 
While we do microwave our own pieces, for longevity we suggest heating food in the oven where possible. 
 
I M P O R T A N T    I N F O R M A T I O N
Our china looks and feels very (very) different to mass-produced pottery; it’s not fine or delicate, but wonderfully chunky and full of texture, you’ll see thumb prints, makers marks, glaze specks/drips and heaps of individuality. We call it perfectly imperfect pottery and firmly believe it’s all the better for it!
